Background Overview

The Tarot of Dreams deck was a self published deck. It was originally released in 2005 as a limited edition, which sold out over two years ago. It was voted most popular deck of the year on its release by the members of a leading tarot web site. Copies of this deck have since become sought after collector items, occasionally appearing on e-bay for over $400.

A more economical standard version was subsequently produced and currently available from the artists web site www.ciromarchetti.com  This latest version incorporates four additional "palace cards" This app is based on this latest version.

As with our other Legacy of the Divine Tarot app, we do not pretend that this app will provides readings, no app can do that and we feel its disingenuous to suggest otherwise. Furthermore we do not suggest that any beginners rely on this app in order to learn tarot, there are numerous alternative option for that, so we have not incorporated a list of  canned "meanings". What we have done is incorporate a general description and orientation for each card based on the original text by co author of the original companion guidebook, Lee Bursten. Along with the following list of features , we consider our apps to be the best available in the tarot genre, and provide probably the most realistic virtual alternative to using a physical deck.

Random card of the day selection

"Zoom in" function on the iPhone, to see close up detail of the cards. This is not required on the iPad as the cards are already shown at almost twice the size of the physical deck.

Animated shuffling of the deck by motion of the phone can be turned ON or OFF in the preferences settings

Ability to drag cards onto a reading table graphic and create any spread you wish. (You are not restricted to a limited list of predetermined spreads)

Large zoomable reading table.

Save your favorite spreads to automatically deal them again later.

The use of Reversals can be turned ON or OFF in the preferences settings

Ability to write notes, and save those notes for later retrieval and reference.

Ability to e-mail both the notes and image of the reading spread to friends or clients.

Multi tasking ready. Readings stay active while the app is in the background.

We stand by the quality and functionality of our apps. In response to the few negative reviews, most of the issues that some customers have indicated would be resolved by reviewing the info and preference sections provided in the app. In the unlikely event that anyone experiences any issues such as crashing please feel free to contact us, we will try our best to help. In the isolated cases when we have been contacted we were able to resolve any issues to the customers satisfaction as any problems were normally unrelated to the app itself, but rather with the updating of settings and version of the operating system on the customers device.
